#7 of 9 hotels in Patong by Axel's take. Patong is #1 of 12 places to stay in Phuket. The best hotels in Patong, ranked · Where to stay in Phuket

Axel's take: 7.8/10

A strong beachfront party base, but a poor choice for uninterrupted sleep. an adults-only boutique party hotel on Patong Beach, scored for what it is.

Kudo is an adults-only boutique party hotel on Patong Beach, not a conventional five-star retreat. Its 26 rooms and suites put you directly beside the sand and close to Bangla Road. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise helpful staff, clean, spacious rooms and beachfront dining. It's a strong pick if DJs, poolside drinks and nightlife are the point of your trip.

The trade-off is serious noise, not simply a lively atmosphere: recent Expedia and Agoda guests report music continuing into the early morning, sometimes until 8 a.m. Beach-club daybeds aren't automatically included with every booking, so check your package. Pool-bar reconstruction disrupted stays in February 2026, and an August guest also reported construction; completion couldn't be verified. We'd skip it for restorative sleep or polished luxury, and confirm current works and seating privileges before committing.

Best for: nightlife-focused couples; friends planning a party trip; beach-club enthusiasts
Watch out for: loud music into the early morning; daybed access depends on booking terms; 2026 construction reports; completion unverified
Location: Directly on Patong Beach near Bangla Road—not in Phuket Town.
Rooms: Generously sized rooms and suites; selected suites have private whirlpool tubs.
Cleanliness: Generally strong guest feedback, despite some recent exceptions.
Service: Friendly, helpful staff attract repeated praise; complaint handling receives mixed feedback.
Amenities: Outdoor pool, beach club, restaurants and café; entertainment defines the experience.
Fees and surprises: Confirm daybed inclusions and construction status; Expedia lists no elevators.
