#8 of 8 hotels in Rawai & Nai Harn by Axel's take. Rawai & Nai Harn is #5 of 12 places to stay in Phuket. The best hotels in Rawai & Nai Harn, ranked · Where to stay in Phuket

Axel's take: 8.2/10

A strong family villa pick, but nearby construction compromises the quiet. A family-focused 4-star private-pool villa complex in Rawai, scored for what it is.

Rawayana is a family-focused 4-star villa complex, not a conventional beachfront hotel. We'd choose it for generous living space, proper kitchens and private pools, especially when sharing with children or friends. Tripadvisor and Booking.com guests repeatedly praise cleanliness and helpful staff, while recent Trip.com reviews reinforce the appeal of the spacious villas. Restaurants, shops and Rawai's promenade are within walking distance.

The main reservation is neighboring construction: Expedia still flags it, and 2026 guests describe building work nearby. Some recent reviews also mention worn air-conditioning or maintenance niggles, though the overall feedback remains strongly positive. Check the exact villa layout, since bedroom access, stairs and pool sizes vary. We'd skip it if guaranteed quiet or a beachfront setting matters more than having a self-contained place together.

  • Best for: Families wanting a private pool; Friends sharing a spacious villa; Longer self-catering stays

  • Watch out for: Neighboring construction and possible noise; Variable layouts, stairs and pool sizes; Some recent air-conditioning maintenance complaints

  • Location: Set back from the waterfront; the hotel puts Rawai promenade about 500 meters away.

  • Rooms: Multi-bedroom villas with kitchens and private pools; confirm bedroom connections and stairs before booking.

  • Cleanliness: A consistent strength across Tripadvisor, Booking.com and Trip.com, with occasional exceptions.

  • Service: Generally praised as helpful and responsive; reception is not staffed around the clock.

  • Amenities: Restaurants, free bicycles and parking; Rawai Kids Park has an admission fee and monthly cleaning closure.

  • Fees and surprises: Refundable security deposit required; breakfast and transfers may cost extra; neighboring construction remains listed.
