#6 of 8 hotels in Rawai & Nai Harn by Axel's take. Rawai & Nai Harn is #5 of 12 places to stay in Phuket. The best hotels in Rawai & Nai Harn, ranked · Where to stay in Phuket

Axel's take: 8.3/10

A good-value Rawai base for space and quiet, rather than beachfront polish. a simple 3-star apartment-style resort in a quiet part of Rawai, scored for what it is.

Ya Nui Resort is a simple 3-star apartment-style property, and we'd pick it for roomy accommodation and a slower-paced Phuket stay. Tripadvisor and Booking.com guests repeatedly praise the spacious rooms, helpful staff and peaceful setting; recent Trip.com reviews also highlight the clean saltwater pool and useful kitchens. It's a strong choice for self-catering travelers who prefer a small, low-rise place to a full-service resort.

The trade-off is convenience: this isn't beachfront, and transport makes exploring much easier. Furnishings can look tired, and a few recent guests report housekeeping lapses, although cleanliness feedback remains positive overall. Kitchen equipment varies, so check your room category if cooking matters. We'd skip it for contemporary interiors, doorstep beach access or nightlife on foot.

  • Best for: couples seeking a quiet base; self-catering families; longer stays with transport

  • Watch out for: not beachfront; transport is useful; some dated furnishings and housekeeping lapses; kitchen equipment varies by room

  • Location: Quiet Rawai setting near Yanui Beach; walking estimates vary, and transport helps for wider exploring.

  • Rooms: Generously sized studios and apartments with balconies or terraces; furnishings and kitchen provision vary.

  • Cleanliness: Strong overall feedback, tempered by a few recent reports of stained towels or bathroom mold.

  • Service: Friendly, helpful staff are a recurring strength across guest-review sites.

  • Amenities: Saltwater pool, Thai and Western restaurant, free Wi-Fi and parking; breakfast is available.

  • Fees and surprises: Booking.com lists a refundable cash damage deposit; breakfast and airport transfers can cost extra.
