Hotels in YerevanA simple budget hotel near Kilikia bus station, not a full-service 4-star
7.5/10
Good budget potential near the bus station, but confirm exactly which room you're booking.
Alex is a simple budget hotel rather than the full-service 4-star its listing suggests. We'd consider it for a practical, good-value stay near Kilikia bus station. Booking.com’s strong overall rating is backed by recent praise for clean rooms and helpful reception staff; Expedia guests also describe a modest, useful base. The hotel puts central Yerevan about 25 minutes away on foot.
The catch is consistency. Room categories include a second building, and guests on Agoda and Expedia report accommodation that differed from the advertised pictures. Tripadvisor adds repeated 2025 complaints about room allocation, reservation handling and missed cleaning, although other guests report excellent stays. Breakfast feedback is divided, too. Confirm the building, bed setup and breakfast inclusion before arrival. We'd skip it for four-star polish or a sightseeing trip centered on walking out straight into downtown.

Best for: budget-minded short stays; travelers using Kilikia bus station; guests comfortable taking taxis downtown
Watch out for: uneven rooms across buildings; room-allocation and reservation complaints; inconsistent breakfast and housekeeping
Location: Near Kilikia bus station and Victory Bridge; the hotel estimates a 25-minute walk to the center.
Rooms: Simple accommodation with several categories; confirm the building, bed configuration and air conditioning.
Cleanliness: Strong Booking.com scores and recent praise, tempered by repeated cleaning complaints elsewhere.
Service: Often praised as helpful, but several 2025 guests report poor handling of booking or room problems.
Amenities: Wi-Fi, free parking, a café and airport transfers; Expedia lists no elevator.
Fees and surprises: Airport transfers cost extra; the official site includes breakfast, while Expedia lists it as an extra—check your booking.
