Broadway is a purpose-built entertainment district around Lake Broadway, not a seaside neighborhood despite the name. Ripley's Aquarium, WonderWorks, shops, restaurants and theaters make it easy to fill a day without leaving the complex. Nearby Pelicans baseball and Topgolf strengthen the case for an activity-heavy stay.
- Best for
- nightlifeshoppingsports fansmuseums and culture
- Skip it if
- You want direct beach access; You prefer an ordinary neighborhood to an entertainment complex
- Getting around
- Route 10 serves Broadway; walk within the complex and drive or ride to the beach; from MYR, take a taxi or Route 7 downtown and transfer to Route 10.
- After dark
- Restaurants, bars and shows keep the complex active; The Avenue concentrates evening venues, while surrounding parking areas feel less like a strolling district.
