Hotels in TallahasseeAn aging budget motel with exterior corridors off I-10
4.7/10
Convenient highway access, but recurring cleanliness problems make this a poor budget bet.
This is an aging budget motel off I-10, not a full-service three-star hotel. Free parking, Wi-Fi and breakfast make the basics convenient, and some recent Expedia guests report clean rooms, comfortable beds and helpful staff. But Booking.com and Expedia ratings sit around the mid-fives, while Tripadvisor is similarly weak. We'd treat it as a fallback rather than a dependable overnight stop.
The concern is more than dated decor: guests across several sites repeatedly describe dirty floors and bathrooms, musty smells, damaged fixtures and cockroaches, including reports from summer and September 2026. Those are failures even at budget-motel expectations. Service varies, breakfast gets mixed feedback, and a damage deposit and pet charges need checking before arrival. We'd skip it for family vacations, longer stays or anyone who needs reliably clean accommodation.
