Axel's take: 8.7/10

A strong downtown pick for clean rooms, welcoming staff and a worthwhile breakfast. a straightforward 3-star hotel in downtown Spokane, scored for what it is.

This straightforward 3-star hotel is a strong pick for a downtown Spokane stay, especially if you're attending something at the Convention Center across the street. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the helpful staff, clean rooms and included breakfast. Riverfront Park and downtown restaurants are easy to reach on foot. We'd choose it for dependable comfort and practical convenience rather than a long list of facilities.

The main trade-offs are street noise and limited parking, particularly for larger vehicles. The hotel advertises free outdoor parking, but spaces aren't guaranteed; the secured garage can cost extra, so confirm arrangements before arrival. There's a gym but no pool, making this less appealing for families planning hotel downtime. We'd skip it if quiet surroundings or resort-style amenities matter more than being able to walk downtown.

• Best for: Convention Center attendees; downtown sightseeing on foot; travelers prioritizing clean, practical comfort

• Watch out for: Street noise can reach rooms; Limited free parking; garage charges may apply; No swimming pool

• Location: Across from the Convention Center, with Riverfront Park and restaurants within walking distance.

• Rooms: Comfortable, practical rooms; outside noise is the main recurring caveat.

• Cleanliness: Consistently praised in recent reviews, with strong cleanliness ratings across major sites.

• Service: Friendly, helpful staff are one of the clearest strengths across guest-review sources.

• Amenities: Included breakfast, Wi-Fi, gym and guest laundry; no pool.

• Fees and surprises: Confirm parking charges; pet fees and an incidental hold apply, and the hotel restricts bookings from local residents.
