Axel's take: 8.1/10

A strong overnight stop with friendly staff, comfortable beds and some aging details. a straightforward 3-star airport-area hotel, scored for what it is.

This straightforward 3-star near Savannah’s airport is a strong pick for an I-95 stopover or a practical Pooler base. Booking.com and Expedia guests consistently praise the friendly staff, comfortable beds and generally clean, spacious rooms. Included breakfast, free regular parking and in-room microwaves and refrigerators make it good value for travelers who want the basics covered rather than boutique character.

The main compromise is uneven upkeep: some recent guests describe worn bathroom caulking, musty rooms or noisy air-conditioning, though positive cleanliness reports substantially outweigh those complaints. There’s an outdoor pool and a gym, but this is a functional roadside stay, not a resort. We’d skip it for a walkable historic-Savannah vacation, and confirm airport transportation directly rather than assuming a shuttle is included.

• Best for: I-95 overnight stops; airport-area stays; value-minded travelers with a car

• Watch out for: Uneven bathroom and room upkeep; Not a walkable downtown base; Conflicting airport-shuttle listings

• Location: Convenient for the airport, I-95 and Pooler shopping; a car is recommended.

• Rooms: Generally spacious with comfortable beds, microwaves and refrigerators; some maintenance and AC-noise complaints.

• Cleanliness: Strong overall guest ratings, with occasional reports of mustiness and bathroom issues.

• Service: Friendly, helpful front-desk and breakfast staff are a recurring strength.

• Amenities: Included breakfast, free Wi-Fi, outdoor pool and fitness center.

• Fees and surprises: Regular self-parking is free; extended parking costs extra, and shuttle availability needs confirmation.
