Axel's take: 5.7/10

Useful kitchenettes and friendly staff, but room standards are too inconsistent for an easy recommendation. a basic 2-star extended-stay motel on Savannah’s south side, scored for what it is.

This basic 2-star extended-stay motel on Savannah’s south side offers practical essentials: kitchenettes, free parking and coin laundry. It’s better suited to a work assignment or temporary housing than a sightseeing break. Recent Google and Expedia guests repeatedly praise friendly, helpful staff, and some describe clean, comfortable rooms. But Expedia’s overall rating sits around 6/10, while Booking.com is lower—hardly a dependable budget pick.

The concern is inconsistent upkeep, not a lack of luxury. Expedia reviews from 2026 include reports of roaches, unpleasant odors and missing bathroom equipment, alongside positive stays. Those basics should be reliable even at this level. We’d consider it only if cooking facilities and the south-side location are priorities; we’d skip it for a carefree vacation or if cleanliness uncertainty is a deal-breaker.

• Best for: budget workers needing a kitchenette; temporary stays near south-side shops

• Watch out for: uneven cleanliness and pest reports; inconsistent room maintenance; not a historic-district base

• Location: Near Oglethorpe Mall and south-side shopping; a car is useful for downtown sightseeing.

• Rooms: Kitchenettes are practical, but recent guests describe uneven condition and occasional missing fixtures.

• Cleanliness: Some guests praise clean rooms; 2026 Expedia reviews also report odors, roaches and other insects.

• Service: Friendly, helpful staff are the most consistent positive across recent Google and Expedia reviews.

• Amenities: The official site confirms kitchenettes, refrigerators, free parking, coin laundry and pet-friendly rooms.

• Fees and surprises: Expedia lists pet charges and size restrictions; confirm the policy before bringing an animal.
