Axel's take: 9.3/10

An unusually strong all-suite choice for families, longer stays and University Town Center. a 3-star all-suite hotel beside University Town Center, scored for what it is.

This 3-star all-suite hotel gets the extended-stay basics unusually right. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise spotless rooms, helpful staff and a breakfast that stands above the usual chain spread; Booking.com guests echo the praise for space and cleanliness. Fully equipped kitchens, free parking and an outdoor pool make it a strong pick for families and longer stays. The location suits shopping, Nathan Benderson Park and Mote SEA especially well.

The main compromise is geography: this is a retail-area base off I-75, not a beach escape or downtown Sarasota stay. We'd skip it if walking straight onto the sand is the priority. Pet stays carry a nonrefundable fee, and Hilton's evening reception runs on Wednesdays rather than nightly. Otherwise, the recent evidence shows remarkably few consistent shortcomings for its class.

• Best for: families wanting kitchens and extra space; longer stays; Benderson Park and Mote SEA visitors

• Watch out for: not a beachfront or downtown location; nonrefundable pet fee; evening reception only on Wednesdays

• Location: Beside UTC shopping, near Mote SEA and Benderson Park; beach trips require a drive.

• Rooms: Spacious suites with fully equipped kitchens; guests consistently praise comfort and condition.

• Cleanliness: A standout strength across Expedia, Tripadvisor and Booking.com guest feedback.

• Service: Recent reviews overwhelmingly describe helpful, welcoming front-desk and breakfast staff.

• Amenities: Free hot breakfast, outdoor pool, gym, Wi-Fi and complimentary bicycle loans.

• Fees and surprises: Parking is free; pets incur a nonrefundable fee that increases for longer stays.
