Fellini is a small, traditional 3-star hotel whose strongest feature is how easily it gets you into Rome. Trevi Fountain is 4 minutes away on foot, and the surrounding streets supply restaurants, shopping and useful transport links. Booking.com and Expedia guests repeatedly praise helpful staff and cleanliness: this is a convincing sightseeing base rather than a hotel to spend whole afternoons in.

The compromises are physical. Compact rooms and a tiny lift recur across Booking.com and Tripadvisor reviews, making bulky luggage an awkward fit. Room finishes are more traditional than design-led, and the facilities are modest. We'd choose Fellini for a short, walking-heavy visit where service and location matter more than space; we'd choose elsewhere for generous rooms or a hotel with substantial leisure facilities.
