Hotels in Rehoboth BeachA refreshed roadside motel with rooms and cottages, a mile from Rehoboth Beach
7.6/10
A practical beach base, but compact rooms and nightclub noise limit its appeal.
Ocean Glass Inn is a remodeled roadside motel, not a beachfront hotel, and we'd consider it for a short, uncomplicated Rehoboth getaway. Expedia's strong overall ratings and recent guests' praise for comfortable beds, helpful staff and easy digital check-in make a good case. Larger cottages and suites offer alternatives to the notably compact standard rooms, while nearby restaurants and the Junction & Breakwater Trail add convenience.
The trade-offs deserve attention: the beach is about a mile away, and several recent guests report late-night music from Diego's nightclub across the street. Cleanliness gets plenty of praise, but summer and September 2026 reviews also repeatedly flag dirty floors and inconsistent housekeeping. Don't book expecting the breakfast or social hour described in older reviews. We'd skip it for light sleepers, travelers wanting full service, or anyone expecting spacious bathrooms.

Best for: Couples on short beach breaks; Cyclists exploring nearby trails; Dog owners seeking a simple base
Watch out for: Late-night music from Diego's nightclub; Small standard rooms and bathrooms; Uneven recent housekeeping reports
Location: About a mile from the beach; restaurants and the Junction & Breakwater Trail are nearby.
Rooms: Remodeled motel rooms vary considerably in size; cottages and suites provide more space.
Cleanliness: Strong historical ratings, but repeated summer and September 2026 complaints warrant caution.
Service: Often praised as helpful; digital room access is convenient, though personal service varies.
Amenities: Wi-Fi, fridges and microwaves; no room service, and partner-hotel pool access costs extra.
Fees and surprises: Pet, shuttle, partner-pool and extra-guest charges apply; confirm housekeeping and don't assume breakfast.
