Axel's take: 7.2/10
A useful budget base with friendly staff, but rooms need more consistency. A basic 3-star hotel with a courtyard pool near Las Glorias Beach, scored for what it is.
Hacienda Vallarta Playa Las Glorias is a basic 3-star hotel, not a beachfront resort. We'd consider it for an inexpensive, independent Puerto Vallarta trip: restaurants are nearby, the beach is walkable, and the courtyard pool gives you somewhere to unwind. Recent Expedia guests repeatedly praise helpful staff, working air-conditioning and clean rooms. It's strongest as a practical base rather than somewhere to spend your whole holiday.
The catch is uneven room quality. Guest feedback includes dated furnishings, musty smells and bathroom upkeep issues, alongside plenty of comfortable stays. Noise also crops up across sources, so request a quieter room away from pool activity. There is no dedicated parking. We'd skip it if you need polished rooms, reliably peaceful nights or resort-style facilities.
