Blu Monkey is a design-led mid-range city hotel, not a luxury resort despite its four-star listing. It’s a strong pick for exploring Phuket Town: Thalang Road and Bus Terminal 1 are within walking distance, and the coworking-style communal spaces give it a relaxed, sociable feel. Expedia and Trip.com guests repeatedly praise the helpful staff, clean rooms and comfortable beds. The outdoor pool and complimentary lobby drinks are useful extras rather than reasons to spend your whole holiday here.
