Axel's take: 8.1/10

A strong airport stopover, with comfortable rooms but some service inconsistencies. a practical 4-star airport hotel in Nice’s Arénas business district, scored for what it is.

This practical 4-star airport hotel is a strong pick for an early departure or late arrival, rather than a Riviera holiday. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise clean, comfortable rooms, effective soundproofing and a generous breakfast. The hotel advertises a free 24-hour airport shuttle, while nearby tram and rail connections make onward travel straightforward. We'd choose it for convenience and a comfortable night's sleep, not luxury.

The trade-off is an airport-business setting rather than central Nice or a beachfront stay. Recent Accor reviews include missed shuttle calls and uneven staff responses, alongside plenty of praise; a few guests also report bathroom drain smells. Confirm pickup arrangements before arriving late, and budget for parking and breakfast unless included. We'd skip it if walking straight into Nice's old town or spending lazy days by the beach is the priority.

  • Best for: early flights and late arrivals; short business stays; families needing an airport stopover

  • Watch out for: airport district, not central or beachfront; occasional shuttle and service lapses; some recent reports of bathroom drain smells

  • Location: Opposite Terminal 1, with nearby tram and rail links; better for airport access than sightseeing on foot.

  • Rooms: Modern, comfortable and generally well soundproofed; family configurations include sofa beds.

  • Cleanliness: Strong overall feedback, though a few recent guests flag drain smells and housekeeping lapses.

  • Service: Often praised as helpful, but recent reports show inconsistent phone responses and problem handling.

  • Amenities: Free 24-hour airport shuttle, restaurant, bar, gym, Wi-Fi and children's play area.

  • Fees and surprises: City tax applies; parking, pets and breakfast can cost extra. Arrange airport pickup in advance.
