Axel's take: 7.3/10

A convenient sightseeing base, but room consistency and extra fees hold it back. A practical 3-star in Niagara Falls, Ontario’s Fallsview district, scored for what it is.

This is a practical 3-star on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls, best treated as a sightseeing base rather than a luxury getaway. Its location near Fallsview Casino, OLG Stage and Skylon Tower is the strongest reason to book. Expedia and Tripadvisor guests often praise spacious rooms and comfortable beds, while the indoor pool, hot tub and arcade add useful family appeal. We'd consider it for a short, location-first stay.

The catch is consistency: recent guests describe both refreshed rooms and worn carpets, with housekeeping receiving mostly positive feedback but repeated lapses. September 2026 Expedia reviews report renovations, including loud morning work upstairs; confirm whether construction affects your dates. Parking, destination and resort fees also dilute the value. We'd skip it if quiet mornings, reliably polished rooms or a guaranteed waterfall view are priorities.

• Best for: Casino and OLG Stage visitors; Families needing larger rooms; Location-first sightseeing trips

• Watch out for: Recently reported renovation noise; Uneven room condition and housekeeping; Parking, destination and resort fees

• Location: In Ontario, Canada—not the United States—near the casino, OLG Stage and Skylon Tower.

• Rooms: Good-sized options, including family suites; recent reports mix refreshed bathrooms with dated finishes.

• Cleanliness: Generally positive overall, but carpet and bathroom-cleaning lapses recur across recent reviews.

• Service: Often friendly and helpful on Expedia; Tripadvisor shows less consistent front-desk experiences.

• Amenities: The hotel lists an indoor pool, hot tub, gym, arcade, free Wi-Fi and on-site IHOP.

• Fees and surprises: Paid parking, destination and resort fees, plus a deposit; confirm renovation status and the exact room view.
