A practical Clifton Hill base, provided you can overlook uneven upkeep. a budget-minded 3-star family hotel in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, scored for what it is.

Clifton Victoria Inn is a budget-minded 3-star in Niagara Falls, Ontario—not the United States. We'd consider it for a family sightseeing trip where location and useful freebies matter more than polished rooms. Free parking, Wi-Fi and a simple breakfast help the value, while Clifton Hill and the Falls are walkable. Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise the convenient setting and helpful staff; family suites offer separate sleeping areas.

The compromise is uneven upkeep: recent guests describe dated common areas, variable mattresses and occasional housekeeping misses, alongside plenty of clean-room reports. September 2026 reviews still mention renovations, so confirm whether room or hallway work affects your stay. Breakfast is limited rather than a lavish buffet, and the hotel adds a mandatory local fee. We'd skip it if consistently fresh interiors and dependable room condition are priorities.

• Best for: budget-conscious sightseeing families; drivers wanting free parking; Clifton Hill and waterpark trips

• Watch out for: uneven room condition and housekeeping; renovation status needs checking; mandatory local fee

• Location: On the Canadian side, across from Casino Niagara and walkable to Clifton Hill and the Falls.

• Rooms: Spacious family options and mini-fridges; dated areas and mixed mattress feedback temper the appeal.

• Cleanliness: Many guests report clean rooms, but housekeeping misses recur often enough to warrant caution.

• Service: Helpful, friendly staff are a consistent strength across Expedia and Tripadvisor.

• Amenities: Indoor pool and sauna; free parking and Wi-Fi; nearby waterpark admission requires a package or separate ticket.

• Fees and surprises: Mandatory 7.9% local fee plus tax; breakfast vouchers normally cover up to four registered guests; confirm ongoing renovation work.
