The Caves is an intimate, upscale all-inclusive on Negril’s West End cliffs, not a conventional three-star hotel. Its individually designed cottages favor colorful Jamaican character over polished, international-hotel styling. We’d put it high on the list for a romantic escape: recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise genuinely attentive staff, excellent food and snorkeling straight from the property. Strong cleanliness feedback backs up the setting rather than leaving the views to do all the work.

The important trade-off is the shoreline: there’s no sandy beach, and sea access involves ladders or cliff jumps. Steps and rocky pathways also make this a poor match for limited mobility. Expect quiet evenings rather than big-resort entertainment, and characterful rooms rather than uniformly contemporary finishes. Private cave dining costs extra.
