Axel's take: 7.8/10

A dependable airport-area base, with helpful staff but some rough edges. a practical 4-star business hotel in Andheri East near Mumbai airport, scored for what it is.

The Mirador is a practical 4-star business hotel in Andheri East, better suited to airport stopovers and work trips than a Mumbai sightseeing holiday. We'd shortlist it for its generally clean, comfortable rooms and helpful staff: both are strengths across Tripadvisor, Booking.com and Expedia. Guests also frequently praise the food, and the nearby Chakala–J.B. Nagar metro adds useful connectivity.

The trade-offs are uneven upkeep and noise rather than a lack of basics. Recent Expedia and MakeMyTrip guests mention weak soundproofing, while some bathrooms feel dated. In January 2026, management acknowledged renovation disruption and gym-access problems reported on Tripadvisor; whether these are resolved is unclear, so check before booking. Breakfast and airport transfers can cost extra. We'd skip it for a quiet retreat or a stay focused on South Mumbai's sights.

• Best for: airport stopovers; Andheri business trips; travelers who value helpful staff

• Watch out for: noise in road-facing rooms; confirm renovation status and gym access; some dated bathrooms

• Location: Useful for the airport and Andheri business districts; Chakala–J.B. Nagar metro is roughly a ten-minute walk away.

• Rooms: Generally comfortable, but soundproofing and bathroom condition draw some recent criticism.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength overall, supported by guest ratings and recent housekeeping praise.

• Service: Helpful staff earn repeated praise, although individual service complaints remain.

• Amenities: Restaurant, café, room service and advertised fitness center; confirm gym availability before relying on it.

• Fees and surprises: Breakfast may be excluded; airport transfers cost extra, and Expedia lists an incidental deposit.
