Axel's take: 8.8/10

A strong El Poblado base for space, helpful staff and apartment-style comfort. an upscale apartment-style hotel in residential El Poblado, scored for what it is.

Sites is an upscale apartment-style hotel in residential El Poblado, and a strong pick if you value space over full-service luxury. Its lofts and apartments have kitchenettes, with balconies in many categories. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the roomy accommodation, cleanliness and helpful staff; Booking.com’s strong cleanliness and comfort scores reinforce that picture. Nearby restaurants and a rooftop hot tub add to its appeal for longer stays.

The trade-offs are modest rather than deal-breaking: occasional traffic noise, some less-warm reception encounters, and a rooftop hot tub rather than a proper swimming pool. An Expedia guest reported remodeling in August 2026; completion could not be confirmed, so check before booking if daytime quiet matters. We’d choose it for families or a longer city visit, but skip it if you want extensive resort facilities or nightlife on the doorstep.

• Best for: families wanting extra space; longer stays with a kitchenette; couples preferring a residential base

• Watch out for: remodeling reported in August 2026; completion unconfirmed; occasional traffic noise; rooftop hot tub, not a lap pool

• Location: Residential El Poblado, with nearby restaurants; guests consistently praise the location.

• Rooms: Spacious lofts and apartments with kitchenettes; many categories include balconies.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across Tripadvisor, Booking.com and recent Expedia reviews.

• Service: Warm, helpful staff are a recurring highlight, with occasional reception complaints.

• Amenities: Rooftop hot tub, gym, free self-parking and breakfast available.

• Fees and surprises: Expedia lists a damage deposit, breakfast and airport-transfer supplements; confirm remodeling status directly.
