Axel's take: 8.9/10

Generous suites and standout service, with nightlife noise the main compromise. an upscale 4-star suite hotel in El Poblado, scored for what it is.

Hotel Du Parc is an upscale 4-star suite hotel near Parque Lleras, and a strong pick for travelers who want space without sacrificing walkability. Its French-inspired interiors lean traditional rather than cutting-edge, but the practical appeal is clear: roomy accommodation, kitchenettes and buffet breakfast. Booking.com and Expedia guests consistently praise cleanliness, helpful staff and comfortable rooms; recent reviews reinforce that this is a well-run hotel rather than simply a convenient address.

The main compromise is the lively neighborhood. Many guests sleep well behind the soundproof windows, while others still hear weekend clubs or corridor traffic. Request a quieter, higher-floor room. A May 2026 guest also reported construction directly across the street; its current status is unconfirmed, so check before booking. The gym is modest. We'd choose it for a comfortable city base, but skip it if silence is essential.

• Best for: couples exploring El Poblado; longer stays with kitchenette convenience; travelers prioritizing personal service

• Watch out for: nightlife and occasional corridor noise; small gym with limited equipment; reported construction opposite; current status unconfirmed

• Location: Walkable El Poblado address close to Parque Lleras, restaurants and nightlife.

• Rooms: Spacious, traditionally styled suites with kitchenettes; quieter room placement matters.

• Cleanliness: Consistently strong feedback across Booking.com, Expedia and Tripadvisor.

• Service: Warm, attentive staff are a recurring highlight, including in recent reviews.

• Amenities: Buffet breakfast, restaurant and rooftop spa; gym equipment is limited.

• Fees and surprises: Airport transfers cost extra; confirm the status of construction reported opposite in May 2026.
