Axel's take: 8.1/10

A strong base for La 70 nightlife, less convincing for quiet nights. a large, nightlife-focused 4-star with a casino on La 70, scored for what it is.

Hotel Dorado La 70 is a large, practical 4-star with a casino, right among La 70’s bars and restaurants. It’s a strong pick for travelers who want nightlife, stadium access and the Estadio metro nearby rather than a luxury retreat. Booking.com and Expedia guests consistently praise cleanliness and helpful staff, while the rooftop bar’s city views are a genuine highlight.

The main compromise is sleep: despite advertised soundproofing, guests across sites report late-night music from the surrounding venues. Firm mattresses and limited breakfast variety also recur in reviews. Some rooms lack an outside view, so check the exact category rather than assuming the balcony photos apply. We’d choose it for an active city break, but skip it if quiet nights or a leisurely breakfast matter most.

• Best for: nightlife-focused couples and friends; stadium and concert visitors; travelers using the metro

• Watch out for: late-night music despite advertised soundproofing; firm beds and limited breakfast variety; some rooms lack outside views

• Location: On lively La 70, two blocks from Estadio metro and convenient for the stadium.

• Rooms: Practical, air-conditioned rooms; check window and balcony details, and expect firm beds.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across Booking.com, Expedia and recent Tripadvisor feedback.

• Service: Recent guests repeatedly praise friendly, helpful staff.

• Amenities: Rooftop bar, restaurant, casino, gym and sauna; entertainment is a major part of the offering.

• Fees and surprises: Expedia lists free parking; extra beds cost extra, and children’s breakfast may not be included.
