Axel's take: 8.8/10

A strong apartment-style base with helpful staff, though soundproofing is a trade-off. a minimalist mid-range aparthotel near Parques del Río, scored for what it is.

Beminimal Parques is a minimalist mid-range aparthotel in Conquistadores, near Parques del Río and Plaza Mayor. We'd pick it for practical, apartment-style comfort rather than full-service luxury: the hotel lists equipped kitchens, air-conditioning, coworking space and a rooftop. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise the staff and cleanliness, while Booking.com’s strong overall rating supports that positive picture. The downstairs Rivertown café adds a useful place to eat or work.

The main reservation is noise: several guests describe sound carrying from corridors and shared areas, despite the residential setting. Breakfast earns plenty of praise, but limited variety is a recurring criticism, particularly for longer stays. It's a strong fit for independent travelers and convention visitors; we'd skip it if reliable silence or a traditional luxury-hotel experience matters most.

• Best for: Plaza Mayor convention visitors; Independent travelers who want a kitchen; Remote workers

• Watch out for: Noise carrying from corridors and shared areas; Limited breakfast variety; No on-site parking

• Location: Residential Conquistadores, close to Parques del Río and Plaza Mayor; Expedia lists the metro about 12 minutes away on foot.

• Rooms: Minimalist lofts with equipped kitchens and air-conditioning; sound insulation draws some criticism.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across Booking.com, Expedia and recent Tripadvisor reviews.

• Service: Helpful, welcoming staff receive repeated praise across the major review sites.

• Amenities: Rivertown café, coworking space, rooftop, Wi-Fi and housekeeping are listed by the hotel.

• Fees and surprises: Expedia lists no parking and additional pet charges plus a pet deposit; confirm breakfast inclusions when booking.
