Good pools and spacious rooms, but maintenance makes this a cautious choice. a large, aging 4-star resort-style hotel in Marrakech’s Agdal district, scored for what it is.

Zalagh Kasbah is a large, aging 4-star in Marrakech’s Agdal hotel district, not Lalla Takerkoust. We see it as a pool-first option rather than a dependable four-star escape. Spacious balcony rooms and the pools earn praise, and Booking.com guests are notably more positive than those on Expedia and Tripadvisor. Several recent guests also describe genuinely helpful staff.

The recurring drawbacks are tired bathrooms, unreliable air-conditioning, uneven housekeeping and repetitive buffet food. Recent Tripadvisor reviews include repeated cockroach reports, alongside guests describing clean, comfortable stays. A June 2026 guest reported room renovations; completion is unverified. The spa was used successfully by a September guest after earlier closure reports. All-inclusive does not cover every bar or restaurant. We’d skip it for polished comfort or sightseeing on foot; the medina generally means a taxi.

• Best for: travelers prioritizing pool time; guests comfortable taking taxis

• Watch out for: dated rooms and unreliable air-conditioning; uneven housekeeping and recurring pest reports; restricted all-inclusive venues

• Location: On Avenue Mohammed VI in southern Marrakech’s Agdal district; a mall is nearby, but the medina requires transport.

• Rooms: Spacious rooms with balconies; maintenance and temperature-control complaints recur across sites.

• Cleanliness: Booking.com scores cleanliness relatively well, but Tripadvisor reports show meaningful inconsistency.

• Service: Many guests praise individual staff; reception and problem handling receive mixed feedback.

• Amenities: Pools are the strongest draw; spa availability has varied, so confirm before booking treatments.

• Fees and surprises: Guests report pool-towel deposits and chargeable venues outside all-inclusive; parking is listed as free.
