Axel's take: 7.4/10

A practical Lekki base, but unreliable Wi-Fi and uneven upkeep temper the appeal. a budget hotel with a pool in Lekki Phase 1, scored for what it is.

Presken Freedom Way is a budget hotel in Lekki Phase 1, and we'd consider it for a straightforward stay rather than a polished getaway. Location and staff are its strongest assets: Booking.com guests praise comfortable rooms and helpful service, while recent Agoda reviews highlight courteous staff and good value. The broader Google rating is also reassuring, although feedback varies considerably between platforms.

The clearest current drawback is connectivity: July and August 2026 Agoda guests report poor in-room network service or Wi-Fi. Upkeep deserves a check, too. Expedia guests reported cleanliness problems and an unusable pool in March 2025; those older reports aren't proof of today's conditions, but we'd confirm pool availability before booking. Check whether breakfast covers both guests, and note there's no lift. We'd skip it for dependable remote working or a pool-focused break.

• Best for: budget-conscious Lekki visitors; short leisure stays

• Watch out for: unreliable in-room connectivity; confirm pool condition and breakfast coverage; no lift

• Location: Lekki Phase 1 location earns consistently strong marks on Booking.com and Agoda.

• Rooms: Air-conditioned rooms with fridges; comfort feedback is generally positive, though older reports flag maintenance faults.

• Cleanliness: Strong Booking.com cleanliness marks contrast with complaints in Expedia's small, older review sample.

• Service: Helpful, courteous staff are a recurring strength in Booking.com and recent Agoda feedback.

• Amenities: Pool, restaurant, bar, gym and free parking are listed; recent guests flag weak connectivity.

• Fees and surprises: Confirm breakfast coverage for every guest and the final tax-inclusive total; Expedia lists no lift.
