A practical Surulere base, but check room condition before committing. a simple independent 3-star hotel in Surulere, scored for what it is.

Kelin is a simple independent 3-star in Surulere: a reasonable option for mainland visits, rather than a hotel worth crossing Lagos for. Google's substantial review base is broadly positive, particularly about service and atmosphere; older Tripadvisor guests also liked the staff and meals. The official site confirms air-conditioned rooms and free Wi-Fi, while Expedia lists breakfast and parking included. We'd consider it for a short, straightforward stay nearby.

The compromises are compact rooms, limited parking and bathroom maintenance complaints; some guests also mention noise from the outdoor bar. One verified January 2026 review on Expedia reports mold and poor cleaning—not enough to establish a widespread problem, but worth checking before accepting a room. Recent detailed evidence is limited, and Tripadvisor's reviews date to 2015–2017. We'd skip it if you need reliably polished rooms, step-free access or dependable quiet.

• Best for: short stays in Surulere; mainland business visits

• Watch out for: compact rooms and bathroom upkeep; limited parking and possible bar noise; no elevator

• Location: Off Adelabu Road in Surulere; most practical when your plans are on the mainland.

• Rooms: Air conditioning and free Wi-Fi; guest comments repeatedly describe small rooms and bathroom maintenance issues.

• Cleanliness: Broad feedback leans positive, but one January 2026 verified review reports mold and poor cleaning.

• Service: Google feedback generally praises service; older Tripadvisor reviews describe helpful staff.

• Amenities: Restaurant, outdoor bar and garden; Expedia lists included English breakfast, with no elevator.

• Fees and surprises: Expedia lists free parking, but space is reportedly tight; confirm breakfast eligibility for children.
