Worth considering for Ikoyi convenience, but don't book expecting polished four-star comfort. a mid-range Ikoyi hotel with leafy grounds and meeting facilities, scored for what it is.

Colonades is a mid-range Ikoyi hotel whose strongest case is its location and leafy, tucked-away setting—not luxury. Google's broad feedback is positive about the atmosphere, parking and service, while older Tripadvisor guests also appreciated the pool and friendly staff. We'd consider it for a short visit centered on Ikoyi, particularly if you're attending an event here.

The accommodation is harder to recommend confidently. Tripadvisor's room reports are mostly years old, with recurring mentions of dim lighting, unreliable internet and uneven maintenance; they aren't proof of today's conditions. Expedia's sole guest rating, from November 2025, is poor but gives no explanation. Recent overnight evidence is limited, and the listed official website couldn't be accessed. Confirm room condition, working facilities and breakfast inclusions before committing; skip it if consistent, polished comfort is essential.

• Best for: visitors with plans in Ikoyi; on-site meeting and event attendees

• Watch out for: limited recent overnight-stay reviews; historical room-maintenance and Wi-Fi complaints; conflicting facility and accessibility listings

• Location: 21 Alfred Rewane Road, Ikoyi; location and the leafy setting are consistent strengths.

• Rooms: Air-conditioned rooms; older guests describe generous space but dim lighting and uneven upkeep.

• Cleanliness: Historical feedback is mixed; insufficient recent room-level evidence to establish current consistency.

• Service: Google feedback and older Tripadvisor reviews generally favor the staff.

• Amenities: Pool, dining and meeting facilities are listed; confirm current availability, especially gym, spa and tennis.

• Fees and surprises: Expedia lists breakfast and parking as included; confirm inclusions and step-free access directly because listings conflict.
