Axel's take: 6.2/10

Central convenience and good food, but room upkeep is too inconsistent. an older 3-star business hotel near Lakdikapul metro, scored for what it is.

The Central Court is an older 3-star business hotel whose strongest selling point is its location near Lakdikapul metro. It's a practical base for getting around central Hyderabad, with restaurants, free parking and rooms that many guests find spacious. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests frequently praise helpful staff, while food and breakfast earn positive mentions on MakeMyTrip. We'd consider it for a short, location-first stay rather than a relaxing hotel break.

The drawback is inconsistent upkeep, not simply dated decor. Recent MakeMyTrip and Tripadvisor reviews repeatedly describe faulty air-conditioning, unpleasant smells and hot-water problems; some also report dirty water or cockroaches. Other recent guests report clean, comfortable stays, but the uneven basics make this a qualified choice. We'd skip it if dependable cleanliness and trouble-free bathrooms matter more than the address.

• Best for: short, location-first stays; travelers using the metro

• Watch out for: inconsistent housekeeping and pest reports; air-conditioning and hot-water problems; dated rooms and uneven maintenance

• Location: Near Lakdikapul metro, with convenient access to central Hyderabad sights and transport.

• Rooms: Often described as spacious, but recent guests report dated fittings and unreliable air-conditioning.

• Cleanliness: Mixed reports: clean stays alongside recurring complaints about smells, linens and cockroaches.

• Service: Many staff compliments, but problem handling and room-service responsiveness vary.

• Amenities: Two restaurants, bars, free Wi-Fi and free parking; food is a recurring strength.

• Fees and surprises: Airport transfers cost extra; confirm breakfast inclusion and check-in times, which differ across listings.
