Axel's take: 5.8/10

Convenient for Secunderabad, but inconsistent basics make this a cautious budget choice. a basic 3-star budget hotel in central Secunderabad, scored for what it is.

FabHotel WR Grand I is a basic 3-star budget hotel whose strongest argument is convenience: Secunderabad railway station, metro connections and nearby hospitals. We'd consider it for a short, practical stop, rather than a relaxing stay. Guest ratings are sharply divided: FabHotels shows 4.1/5, while Booking.com sits at 5.7/10. Some recent guests praise clean rooms and helpful staff, but that experience is not dependable.

MakeMyTrip and Booking.com guest accounts repeatedly flag dirty linen, missing bathroom supplies and uneven service. Recent ixigo reviews also describe demands for extra payment after booking. Breakfast is reportedly brought from outside rather than served in a restaurant. We'd skip it if reliable cleanliness, straightforward billing or step-free access matters; confirm the final charges, breakfast inclusions and lift access before committing.

• Best for: short Secunderabad stopovers; budget travelers prioritizing nearby hospitals and transport

• Watch out for: inconsistent linen and bathroom cleanliness; reports of extra payment demands; uncertain lift access

• Location: Convenient for Secunderabad station, metro connections and Apollo and Medicover hospitals.

• Rooms: Basic air-conditioned rooms; recent guests report uneven upkeep, missing supplies and occasional noisy AC.

• Cleanliness: Some guests praise cleanliness, but dirty linen and bathroom complaints recur across sites.

• Service: Helpful staff receive praise, alongside repeated complaints about booking handling and responsiveness.

• Amenities: Wi-Fi and room service are listed; guests say breakfast is outsourced, with no restaurant.

• Fees and surprises: Confirm all charges in writing; Expedia lists no elevator, while guests describe limited or unreliable lift access.
