A comfortable HITEC City base, with a recent food-safety caveat. an upscale business hotel in HITEC City, marketed as five-star, scored for what it is.

Avasa is an upscale business hotel in HITEC City, marketed as five-star, and a strong practical choice for Hyderabad work trips. Tripadvisor, Booking.com and Expedia guests consistently praise spacious, clean rooms and helpful staff; breakfast also gets frequent compliments. Its position beside HITEC City metro makes getting around easier, particularly when your plans center on the western business districts.

The important reservation concerns dining: Deccan Chronicle reported on September 26, 2026 that Avasa received a food-safety show-cause notice—not a closure order. We couldn't verify a subsequent resolution, so we'd seek clarification before making its restaurants a reason to book. That tempers otherwise strong guest feedback about food. We'd also choose elsewhere for a trip centered on the Old City's sights: this location makes more sense for business than heritage sightseeing.

• Best for: HITEC City business travelers; Longer work stays; Travelers who want nearby metro access

• Watch out for: September 2026 food-safety show-cause notice; resolution unverified; Less convenient for Old City sightseeing; Airport transfers cost extra

• Location: Beside HITEC City metro, well placed for western Hyderabad's business districts.

• Rooms: Standard rooms are listed at 375 square feet, with king or twin beds and tea/coffee facilities.

• Cleanliness: Room cleanliness is a consistent strength across recent Tripadvisor and Expedia reviews.

• Service: Recent guests repeatedly praise courteous staff and attentive housekeeping.

• Amenities: Outdoor pool, gym, spa, two restaurants and a rooftop lounge provide full-service business-hotel facilities.

• Fees and surprises: Expedia lists complimentary parking but chargeable airport transfers; the food-safety notice warrants clarification.
