Axel's take: 9.1/10

A strong Zona 10 choice for attentive service, comfortable rooms and rooftop swims. a modern upscale hotel in Zona 10 with a rooftop pool, scored for what it is.

Hyatt Centric is a modern upscale city hotel that gets the important things right: clean, comfortable rooms, genuinely helpful staff and an easy Zona 10 location beside AVIA mall. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise the housekeeping and service; Booking.com guests also highlight spacious rooms and an excellent breakfast. Add the rooftop pool and nearby restaurants, and it's a strong pick for business trips or a comfortable stop before flying home.

The trade-offs are mostly practical. Breakfast isn't automatically included, and airport transfers cost extra. Some guests flag rooftop-bar noise, so light sleepers should request a room away from it rather than simply asking for a high floor. We'd skip it if silence or an all-inclusive stay matters more than urban convenience.

• Best for: business travelers; comfortable airport stopovers; couples wanting restaurants nearby

• Watch out for: possible rooftop-bar noise; breakfast and airport transfers can cost extra; conflicting published pet restrictions

• Location: Zona 10 beside AVIA mall, with restaurants nearby and convenient airport access.

• Rooms: Guests praise spacious, comfortable rooms; light sleepers should request distance from the rooftop bar.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across recent Expedia reviews and Booking.com's cleanliness ratings.

• Service: Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise friendly, attentive staff.

• Amenities: Outdoor rooftop pool, rooftop gym, restaurant, bars and complimentary Wi-Fi; self-parking is included.

• Fees and surprises: Breakfast and transfers carry surcharges; pets cost extra, and Hyatt's pages disagree on weight limits—confirm directly.
