Axel's take: 4.8/10

Convenient highway access cannot make up for unreliable cleanliness and worn-out rooms. a basic 2-star roadside motel off US-131, scored for what it is.

This basic 2-star Wyndham motel in Wyoming is convenient for drivers, but we'd generally choose somewhere else. Free parking, Wi-Fi and easy US-131 access are practical strengths. Some recent Expedia guests describe clean rooms and courteous staff, yet its 5.2/10 Expedia rating and 4.7/10 Booking.com rating point to more than occasional disappointments.

The recurring problems concern the basics: dirty surfaces, smoke odors in nonsmoking rooms, damaged bedding and tired fixtures. Staff receive genuine praise, but that does not make room standards dependable. Wyndham advertises a light breakfast; multiple guests in 2025 and 2026 report none, so don't count on it. We'd consider it only for an undemanding overnight stop after checking the room, and skip it for families or anyone needing reliably clean, smoke-free accommodation.

• Best for: drivers needing highway access; short stays with minimal expectations

• Watch out for: inconsistent cleaning and smoke odors; worn bedding and fixtures; advertised breakfast often reported missing

• Location: Off US-131 in Wyoming; practical for driving rather than a downtown sightseeing base.

• Rooms: Basic rooms with microwaves and mini-fridges; repeated reports of worn bedding and maintenance problems.

• Cleanliness: Some guests find clean rooms, but dirt, stains and smoke odors recur in recent reviews.

• Service: Courteous, helpful staff earn praise, though check-in responsiveness is inconsistent.

• Amenities: Free parking and Wi-Fi; Wyndham advertises light breakfast, but guest reports repeatedly dispute its availability.

• Fees and surprises: Pets incur a fee; confirm accessibility features directly after a Tripadvisor guest reported an incorrectly described accessible room.
