Axel's take: 7.5/10

Worth considering for pyramid views, but traffic noise comes with the territory. a modest 4-star sightseeing hotel near the Giza pyramids, scored for what it is.

Pyramid Front is a modest 4-star sightseeing hotel whose strongest feature is its rooftop: pyramid views from the restaurant and swimming pool give it a clear reason to book. We'd consider it for a short Giza stay rather than polished four-star comfort. Booking.com and Expedia ratings are broadly positive, and recent guests repeatedly praise helpful staff, comfortable rooms and value for money.

The main compromise is sleep. Tripadvisor and Trip.com guests describe persistent traffic noise and weak soundproofing, including in pyramid-facing rooms. Cleanliness earns good overall marks, but repeated reports of bedding and bathroom lapses deserve attention; breakfast and restaurant food also divide opinion. An October 2026 guest reports construction along the street frontage, so check conditions before booking. We'd skip it for a quiet retreat or consistently upscale service.

• Best for: short Giza sightseeing stays; travelers prioritizing pyramid views; value-minded couples and families

• Watch out for: persistent traffic noise and weak soundproofing; uneven housekeeping and food; street-front construction reported in October 2026

• Location: Convenient for the pyramids and Grand Egyptian Museum, but beside a busy main road.

• Rooms: Often comfortable and modern-looking; pyramid views require the right category, and soundproofing is weak.

• Cleanliness: Good aggregate ratings, tempered by repeated bedding and bathroom complaints.

• Service: Friendly, helpful staff are a recurring strength, though experiences are not uniformly positive.

• Amenities: Rooftop pool and restaurant, free Wi-Fi and parking; breakfast gets mixed reviews.

• Fees and surprises: Airport transfers cost extra; confirm breakfast inclusion and current street-front construction.
