Old Town makes a leisure weekend easy: Main Street and Marshall Way galleries, the Civic Center museums, canal-side restaurants and Fashion Square belong to one walkable district. It feels more geared to browsing and going out than downtown Phoenix. Choose the arts streets for a gentler atmosphere or the Entertainment District when nightlife is the point.

Those are meaningfully different stays. The northeastern club district brings late music and party crowds; quieter gallery blocks are not the same experience.
