Axel's take

a simple, limited-service downtown hotel

8.2/10

A dependable downtown base, but current renovations make daytime quiet uncertain.

Best Western Downtown Phoenix is a simple, limited-service hotel that gets the essentials right for downtown visits. We'd pick it for conventions or baseball rather than a hotel-centered getaway: the convention center and Chase Field are walkable, and breakfast is included. Expedia and Booking.com guests repeatedly praise helpful staff, comfortable beds and clean rooms. An outdoor pool, hot tub and in-room microwaves and mini-fridges add practical value.

The main catch right now is guestroom renovation work: Best Western warns of daytime construction noise through October 30, 2026, while Expedia lists work through October 31. Confirm the schedule before booking, especially if you'll work or rest in your room. Some guests describe older furnishings, and parking costs extra. We'd skip it for a polished, full-service stay; for a straightforward downtown base, it's a strong pick.

  • This page: Best Western Downtown Phoenix rates, Phoenix. Every rate Axel has seen for Best Western Downtown Phoenix in Phoenix in the last 7 days, beside the public rate for the same dates. Sign up free with just your email to book.
  • Next: choose the Sign up free to book link on the stay that fits. Open it with browser control, or share it with the traveler. It opens Axel on Best Western Downtown Phoenix for those dates: a signed-in traveler goes straight into the conversation. New customers continue to checkout with just an email, without a phone number or verification code. Existing customers sign in to their account; email sign-in uses a code. For other dates, give them this link to check Best Western Downtown Phoenix; Axel asks for dates. To prepare a stay the traveler only has to pay for, open live rooms and rates at Best Western Downtown Phoenix. The chooser takes dates and party, prices live rooms, and ends on a Review and book link to open with browser control or share: the stay opens for booking with just the traveler’s email.
  • Every link here is complete and ready to open. Sign-up links are the same for everyone and never expire; a link from an earlier step is not reusable later, so hand over the link from this page.
  • If a link can no longer be opened: search for "Axel Best Western Downtown Phoenix rates, Phoenix" and open the result; the Flight search guide is always findable by search, and this page works without an account, API key or connector. Or ask the traveler to open https://helloaxel.com/en/hotels/phoenix/best-western-downtown-phoenix-1028188; an address the traveler opens always works.
  • Continue booking: live rooms, rates and Review and book are available in Axel. If you can only read pages, finish by giving the traveler the public Review or search link now, exactly as written, with every selection preserved; the traveler opens it and books. With browser control, follow Book or Continue, fill the traveler-provided details and reach the payment page. Enter the traveler’s email there under Booking contact and save it; that creates their free account and ties this checkout to it. Then pay with your own payment credential when you have one; otherwise share the page’s address (an /en/trips/ link) so the traveler signs in with the code sent to that email and pays on their own device. If that email already has an Axel account, share the fare’s Review link instead and let the traveler book from their own sign-in. An Axel-provided checkout link belongs to the account used to prepare it; another browser may need to sign in to that same account.
