The Priory is a 42-room, 3-star boutique hotel in a former Benedictine monastery, and we'd pick it for character, personal service and useful extras. The garden courtyard and tiny Monks’ Bar give it personality, while included parking and breakfast make it good value. Management says renovations throughout the hotel finished in 2025.
