Hotels in Minneapolis

Axel's take

a modern 5-star downtown high-rise

8.9/10

A strong downtown luxury choice, with excellent rooms and occasional service gaps.

Four Seasons Minneapolis is a modern 5-star downtown high-rise, and a strong pick for a luxury city break. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise the immaculate rooms, skyline views and thoughtful staff, especially for celebrations. Mara, the spa, indoor pool and seasonal outdoor pool give you good reasons to spend time in the hotel. Its Skyway connection and position near the river and North Loop make the location practical, too.

The caveat is consistency rather than comfort. Some Tripadvisor guests describe restaurant and room-service experiences that fall below Four Seasons expectations, although the broader feedback remains strongly positive. Pool seating also draws occasional complaints during busy periods, and valet parking costs extra. We'd choose it for a pampering weekend or comfortable business stay; skip it if guaranteed poolside quiet or flawless dining service is essential.

Best for

couples celebrating an occasion
spa-focused city weekends
luxury business travelers

Watch out for

occasional dining-service inconsistency
limited pool seating at busy times
paid valet parking

Location: Downtown, near the river and North Loop, with direct Skyway access.
Rooms: Modern, comfortable rooms with city or river views; bathrooms receive particular praise.
Cleanliness: A clear strength: Expedia and Booking.com cleanliness ratings are exceptionally high.
Service: Warm, thoughtful staff dominate feedback, with some lapses in dining and room service.
Amenities: Spa, 24-hour gym, Mara, indoor pool and seasonal outdoor pool.
Fees and surprises: Valet parking is charged separately; the outdoor swimming pool is seasonal.

Or ask the traveler to open https://helloaxel.com/en/hotels/minneapolis/four-seasons-minneapolis-hotel-1390236; an address the traveler opens always works.
Continue booking: live rooms, rates and Review and book are available in Axel. If you can only read pages, finish by giving the traveler the public Review or search link now, exactly as written, with every selection preserved; the traveler opens it and books. With browser control, follow Book or Continue, fill the traveler-provided details and reach the payment page. Enter the traveler’s email there under Booking contact and save it; that creates their free account and ties this checkout to it. Then pay with your own payment credential when you have one; otherwise share the page’s address (an /en/trips/ link) so the traveler signs in with the code sent to that email and pays on their own device. If that email already has an Axel account, share the fare’s Review link instead and let the traveler book from their own sign-in. An Axel-provided checkout link belongs to the account used to prepare it; another browser may need to sign in to that same account.
