Axel's take: 8.6/10
A strong Disney base for spacious rooms and attentive service, not modern resort facilities. an older upscale hotel beside the Disney resort monorail, scored for what it is.
Hotel Okura Tokyo Bay is an older upscale Disney-area hotel whose strongest assets are space, service and easy park access. Standard rooms measure 44 square meters, with generous marble bathrooms and separate showers and tubs. Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise the room sizes, cleanliness and welcoming staff, while breakfast earns particular enthusiasm on Ikyu. We'd pick it for families who want room to spread out after a park day rather than Disney-themed surroundings.
The trade-off is an unmistakably older property: dated interiors and very firm mattresses recur across recent reviews. Bayside Station is a short walk or free shuttle ride away, but reaching the parks still requires the paid monorail; there is no direct hotel bus. Despite older amenity listings, there is no pool or gym available. We'd skip it for contemporary luxury, swimming between park visits or a central-Tokyo sightseeing base.
-
