Hotels in CharlestonA practical 3-star extended-stay hotel in West Ashley
7.3/10
Useful kitchens and friendly staff, but upkeep makes this a qualified pick.
This practical 3-star extended-stay hotel suits travelers who want a kitchen and don't mind driving into Charleston. Full kitchens, included breakfast and free parking make it a sensible base for longer stays and families. Recent Expedia guests repeatedly praise spacious rooms, comfortable beds and helpful staff; Booking.com's overall rating is also solid. We'd consider it for convenience rather than atmosphere.
The reservation is upkeep. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests describe worn furnishings and kitchens needing updates, while separate guests report cockroaches in 2025 and 2026. Those reports deserve attention, although many recent guests describe clean, comfortable stays. Marriott lists housekeeping every other day. The outdoor pool drew closure complaints earlier in 2026, followed by positive summer reports; confirm availability if swimming matters. We'd skip it for a polished stay or walkable historic-district sightseeing.
