Axel's take: 7.4/10

A useful city base, but service and room consistency need work. a practical 4-star city business hotel, scored for what it is.

This practical 4-star business hotel is a reasonable choice for a short Casablanca stay, rather than somewhere to expect luxury. Booking.com guests generally praise cleanliness, comfortable beds and helpful staff, and nearby tram access makes getting around easier. The full refurbishment accompanied its 2022 reopening, so the brand’s renovation language should not be read as a fresh makeover.

The trade-off is consistency. Recent Tripadvisor, Expedia and Trip.com reviews describe uneven reception service, some tired room details and street noise; breakfast draws both enthusiastic praise and complaints about selection or replenishment. Parking arrangements also need checking rather than assuming there is a dedicated hotel lot. A May 2026 guest reported construction inside the hotel; whether it continues is unconfirmed. We'd consider it for a practical city break, but skip it for reliably polished service or guaranteed quiet.

• Best for: short business stays; travelers using trams; value-minded city visitors

• Watch out for: street noise and uneven room condition; inconsistent reception service; parking and building work need confirmation

• Location: Useful central business-district base with nearby trams, rather than a waterfront setting.

• Rooms: Comfortable beds earn praise, but recent guests also report worn details and variable room sizes.

• Cleanliness: Generally positive on Booking.com, with some recent housekeeping lapses reported elsewhere.

• Service: Many guests praise helpful staff, but unhelpful reception is a recurring cross-site complaint.

• Amenities: Restaurant, bar and free Wi-Fi; no pool, and the catalog’s gym and spa facilities are unverified.

• Fees and surprises: City tax applies; breakfast inclusion varies. Confirm parking arrangements and whether reported building work has finished.
