The Corniche location appeals, but tired rooms and facility closures undermine the four-star promise. an aging 4-star seaside hotel on Casablanca’s Corniche, scored for what it is.

Casablanca Le Lido is an aging 4-star seaside hotel whose strongest asset is its Corniche setting. We'd consider it for a short Ain Diab stay if location matters more than polish. Tripadvisor and Trip.com guests repeatedly praise friendly staff, while the outdoor pool earns positive mentions. But Booking.com and Expedia's middling overall ratings reflect a hotel that falls short of its class.

The drawbacks go beyond dated decoration: recent guests across several sites report worn rooms, unreliable air-conditioning and patchy Wi-Fi. Expedia guests in early 2026 reported the ocean-view building closed for renovation; April guests also reported the thalasso spa and gym closed. Reopening wasn't confirmed in the available evidence. We'd skip it for a spa break or dependable four-star comfort, and confirm the exact room, building and operating facilities before booking.

• Best for: short stays in Ain Diab; travelers prioritizing the Corniche location

• Watch out for: reported spa, gym and ocean-view building closures; dated rooms and unreliable air-conditioning; patchy Wi-Fi

• Location: The Corniche setting is a consistent strength, convenient for seaside walks and Anfaplace Mall.

• Rooms: Repeated reports of worn furnishings and maintenance faults; confirm the building and view.

• Cleanliness: Mixed rather than consistently reassuring, despite some guests praising clean rooms.

• Service: Friendly, helpful staff are a recurring positive, though service experiences vary.

• Amenities: Outdoor pool listed; recent guests report spa and gym closures, with reopening unconfirmed.

• Fees and surprises: Breakfast and airport transfers can cost extra; renovation-related closures are the bigger surprise.
