Axel's take: 7.9/10

A good Corniche base for ocean views, with dated edges and no working spa. a traditional 4-star seaside hotel on Casablanca’s Corniche, scored for what it is.

Club Val d’Anfa is a traditional 4-star on Casablanca’s Corniche, better suited to a seaside break than sightseeing on foot. Its Amazigh-inspired interiors give it character, and the outdoor pool and ocean-facing rooms are its strongest draws. Booking.com and Expedia guests generally praise comfortable rooms, helpful staff and the coastal setting. We’d choose it for beach walks and nearby restaurants rather than sleek, modern luxury.

The trade-offs are real: reviews repeatedly mention tired room finishes and street noise, while restaurant service can be slow. Cleanliness scores remain strong overall, despite some recent housekeeping complaints. More importantly, Expedia and Hotels.com currently list the spa, sauna, beauty services and hot tub as unavailable through December 31, 2027. Confirm reopening directly before booking. We’d skip it for a spa-focused stay or if you want Casablanca’s central sights outside the door.

• Best for: couples wanting ocean views; travelers prioritizing beach walks; Corniche dining and nightlife

• Watch out for: spa, sauna and hot tub listed closed; street noise in exposed rooms; dated finishes and uneven service

• Location: Near the beach and Corniche restaurants; central sightseeing generally requires a taxi.

• Rooms: Generally comfortable, with appealing ocean-view options; dated finishes and road noise recur in reviews.

• Cleanliness: Strong aggregate scores, although some recent guests report housekeeping lapses.

• Service: Friendliness earns consistent praise; restaurant speed and front-desk handling are less dependable.

• Amenities: Outdoor pool, restaurants and gym listed; spa, sauna, beauty services and hot tub currently listed unavailable.

• Fees and surprises: City tax is payable at the property; breakfast costs extra unless included, and parking is listed free.
