Axel's take: 8.8/10

A strong Getsemaní base with standout staff and pools, but compact entry-level rooms. a modern, upscale lifestyle hotel in Getsemaní, scored for what it is.

OSH is a modern, upscale lifestyle hotel in Getsemaní, not the basic three-star its catalog listing suggests. It’s a strong pick for combining city exploring with pool time: there are two pools, including one on the rooftop, and the historic center is an easy walk away. Recent Tripadvisor, Expedia and Trip.com guests repeatedly praise the welcoming staff, cleanliness and breakfast. The appeal is contemporary comfort and useful facilities rather than old-world Cartagena character.

The main compromise is space. The hotel lists Essential rooms at just 18–20 square meters, and guests on several sites mention tight rooms or limited storage. Some also find the breakfast and reception areas warm. We’d choose a larger category for a longer stay and skip OSH if sprawling rooms or direct beach access are priorities.

• Best for: couples mixing sightseeing and pool time; travelers exploring Getsemaní on foot; friends wanting restaurants and bars nearby

• Watch out for: compact entry-level rooms and limited storage; some common areas can feel warm; parking is offsite and costs extra

• Location: Walkable Getsemaní setting near restaurants, nightlife and the historic center; not beachfront.

• Rooms: Modern and generally comfortable; Essential rooms are 18–20 square meters, with larger categories available.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across major booking sites and recent guest accounts.

• Service: Warm, helpful staff earn repeated praise, with occasional less-positive front-desk experiences.

• Amenities: Two pools, rooftop bar, Carta Ajena restaurant and a gym; breakfast is frequently praised.

• Fees and surprises: Offsite parking, airport transfers and pets carry extra charges; confirm applicable taxes and breakfast inclusion.
