Axel's take: 8.6/10

Strong service and sea views make this a good pick, despite beachfront works. a modern luxury high-rise on Bocagrande’s waterfront, scored for what it is.

This modern luxury high-rise in Bocagrande is a strong pick for travelers who want spacious rooms, sea views and pool time rather than a historic-center address. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the welcoming staff, comfortable rooms and thorough housekeeping; breakfast variety also earns consistent approval. The ocean-facing infinity pool is the standout amenity, backed by a gym, spa and restaurant.

The main catch is Bocagrande’s coastal-protection construction: guests reported works directly opposite the hotel in 2026, and the city targets April 2027 for the wider project’s completion. Confirm current beach access before booking. The walled city generally requires a taxi ride, so we’d skip this if doorstep sightseeing or an uninterrupted beach holiday matters more than full-service comfort.

• Best for: couples wanting sea views and pool time; families who prefer spacious, full-service hotels; business travelers

• Watch out for: coastal-protection works opposite the hotel; taxi rides to the walled city; breakfast inclusion depends on your booking

• Location: Waterfront Bocagrande, with restaurants nearby; roughly a 10–15-minute drive to the walled city.

• Rooms: Spacious, comfortable rooms draw strong feedback; select an ocean-view category if the outlook matters.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across sites, with strong housekeeping feedback outweighing isolated complaints.

• Service: Warm, attentive staff are repeatedly praised, including in recent 2026 reviews.

• Amenities: Ocean-facing infinity pool, gym, spa, restaurant and free Wi-Fi; this is not a secluded beach resort.

• Fees and surprises: Check breakfast inclusion and beach access; IHG says guest parking is complimentary, although Expedia lists a charge.
