Axel's take: 8.5/10

A welcoming Palermo base with strong service, comfortable beds and a few uneven details. a 4-star boutique hotel in Palermo Hollywood, scored for what it is.

Be Hollywood is a 4-star boutique hotel whose strongest assets are its restaurant-rich Palermo Hollywood location and helpful staff. We'd choose it for a neighborhood-focused Buenos Aires stay rather than a luxury escape. Booking.com and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise reception, comfortable beds and the walkable surroundings, while overall ratings remain strong across both sites and Expedia. Breakfast is included, and the rooftop terrace and small pool add somewhere to unwind.

The trade-offs are mostly about consistency: breakfast earns plenty of praise, but several guests describe limited choice or uneven freshness and service. Some rooms have compact bathrooms with the basin outside the toilet-and-shower enclosure, so check the layout before booking. We'd skip it if downtown sightseeing on foot or polished, full-service luxury matters more than Palermo's dining scene.

• Best for: couples exploring Palermo; restaurant-focused city breaks; travelers who value helpful reception staff

• Watch out for: uneven breakfast execution; compact bathrooms in some rooms; not a downtown sightseeing base

• Location: Walkable Palermo Hollywood dining and shopping; Palermo metro station is roughly 15 minutes away on foot.

• Rooms: Comfortable beds and several room categories; bathroom size and layout deserve checking.

• Cleanliness: Strong overall cleanliness ratings outweigh occasional reports of dust or missed housekeeping.

• Service: Helpful reception is a recurring highlight; breakfast service receives more mixed feedback.

• Amenities: Included breakfast, free Wi-Fi and a rooftop terrace with a small outdoor pool; confirm seasonal pool availability.

• Fees and surprises: Parking and airport transfers cost extra; confirm checkout time because listings and guest reports differ.
