#6 of 9 hotels in Palermo Soho by Axel's take. Palermo Soho is #6 of 9 places to stay in Buenos Aires. The best hotels in Palermo Soho, ranked · Where to stay in Buenos Aires

Axel's take: 8.1/10

A strong Palermo base for roomy accommodation and helpful staff, not polished facilities. a small mid-range boutique hotel in Palermo Soho, scored for what it is.

BA Sohotel is a small mid-range boutique hotel whose strongest assets are its Palermo Soho location and generously sized rooms. It's a strong pick for travelers who prioritize restaurants, neighborhood walks and comfortable beds over extensive facilities. Booking.com and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the cleanliness, room space and helpful reception team; the hotel's own website promises balconies and bilingual, round-the-clock reception.

The trade-off is uneven upkeep rather than a consistently polished boutique experience: some recent guests describe dated rooms, maintenance niggles or noise. Breakfast earns both praise and criticism, and accounts differ on where it's served, so confirm the current arrangement. Expedia lists a seasonal outdoor pool, but the official site promotes only a solarium; check pool and hot-tub availability directly. We'd skip it for a facilities-focused stay.

  • Best for: couples exploring Palermo; restaurant-focused city breaks; travelers who value spacious rooms

  • Watch out for: uneven upkeep and occasional noise; confirm breakfast location; verify pool and hot-tub availability

  • Location: Walkable Palermo Soho setting near restaurants, shops and Plaza Italia subway.

  • Rooms: Generous space and comfortable beds stand out; some guests report dated fittings or noise.

  • Cleanliness: Strong overall feedback across Booking.com, Expedia and Tripadvisor.

  • Service: Helpful, welcoming reception is a recurring strength, despite occasional complaints.

  • Amenities: Free Wi-Fi, breakfast and solarium; listings disagree on the extent of leisure facilities.

  • Fees and surprises: Confirm breakfast arrangements and the final tax-inclusive total before booking.
