The Berkeley is a large, full-service 5-star in Pratunam that makes more sense as a comfortable shopping base than a luxury retreat. We'd pick it for generous rooms, family-friendly layouts and easy walks to Platinum Fashion Mall and CentralWorld. Recent Tripadvisor, Expedia and Trip.com guests repeatedly praise room cleanliness, helpful staff and the varied breakfast. Two outdoor pools, a gym and an on-site spa round out a strong offering.
The trade-offs are scale and uneven polish: some rooms and corridors feel dated, and North Tower guests must change lifts and cross between buildings. Nearby Pratunam flyover works for the MRT Orange Line also complicate road access; the closure is scheduled through February 11, 2027. It's a strong pick for shopping-focused families, but we'd skip it for a quiet, intimate luxury stay.
