Novotel Bangkok Sukhumvit 20 is a full-service 4-star that gets the important things right: comfortable rooms, dependable cleanliness and genuinely helpful staff. Recent Tripadvisor, Expedia and Trip.com guests repeatedly praise the welcome and varied breakfast. We'd pick it for a comfortable Bangkok base with useful extras: an outdoor infinity pool, children's pool, kids' club and rooftop bar, rather than for luxury or boutique character.
The main compromise is getting around. Shops and restaurants are nearby, but Asok BTS and Sukhumvit MRT are roughly a ten-minute walk away, and recent guests find the scheduled tuk-tuk shuttle less flexible than hoped. Some mention room wear or noisy air-conditioning, although these don't dominate the feedback. It's a strong choice for families and city breaks; we'd skip it if station-doorstep convenience is your priority.
