Hotels in Ann ArborAn upscale lakeside golf and conference hotel in Ypsilanti
7.9/10
A strong pick for golf and events, with parking charges that dent the appeal.
This upscale lakeside golf and conference hotel is a good fit for weddings, meetings and a round at Eagle Crest—not a downtown Ann Arbor stay. Ford Lake and golf-course views give it more character than a typical business Marriott. Recent Expedia and Marriott guests repeatedly praise clean, comfortable rooms and helpful staff; Tripadvisor guests also highlight bar service. Marriott says the rooms have been renovated, and the large gym adds practical appeal.
The biggest drawback is paid parking, a recurring frustration across review sites given the spacious suburban lot. Breakfast generally costs extra, and there is no pool despite some online descriptions suggesting otherwise. Recent guests also flag worn elevators and patchy grounds maintenance. We'd choose it for the setting and on-site events, but skip it for a walkable city break or a pool-focused family getaway.
