A handy Osu base with welcoming staff, but room freshness needs checking. an independent mid-range hotel with apartment-style suites in Osu, scored for what it is.

San Marino is an independent mid-range hotel near Oxford Street, with standard rooms and apartment-style suites. It’s a good pick for travelers who want Osu’s restaurants and shops nearby rather than a resort setting. Booking.com and Expedia guests praise the helpful staff, while the sixth-floor Balima Skybar and restaurant earns particular enthusiasm for its food and city views. The overall impression is good, though not consistently excellent.

The main reservation is room freshness: two Expedia reviews from April 2026 report unpleasant, swampy smells, alongside other recent guests praising cleanliness. That is worth checking before accepting a room, especially if you are sensitive to odors. Confirm breakfast inclusion and pool availability too, since listings differ on the details. We’d choose it for location and service, not for a reliably polished luxury stay.

• Best for: travelers exploring Osu; business visitors prioritizing location; longer stays in apartment-style suites

• Watch out for: room odors reported in April 2026; confirm breakfast inclusion; verify pool availability before booking

• Location: On 17th Lane near Oxford Street, convenient for Osu’s restaurants and shopping.

• Rooms: Air-conditioned rooms and kitchen-equipped suites; recent odor reports warrant checking your assigned room.

• Cleanliness: Generally positive feedback, but two April 2026 Expedia reviews raise room-freshness concerns.

• Service: Helpful, friendly staff are a recurring strength across Booking.com, Expedia and Tripadvisor.

• Amenities: Rooftop restaurant, elevator, Wi-Fi, gym and pool advertised; pool descriptions differ between booking sites.

• Fees and surprises: Breakfast may cost extra; Expedia lists free parking and an airport shuttle, which should be arranged ahead.
